We require a 50% deposit on all special or custom furniture orders with the balance being due upon arrival of your furniture at our warehouse from the manufacture. Once your merchandise has been inspected and payment has been received, arrangements can be made for delivery. Ask about our Interest Free finance options for your budgeting convenience. All merchandise will remain the property of Marshalls Home Furnishings until the balance is paid in full. There are no deposit refunds on special order merchandise. Any refund is at the discretion of Marshall's Home Furnishings and will be subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee. We have a strict 24 hour accessories only return policy. No refunds for any reason will be given on accessories after 24 hours have elapsed.
Delivery and Inspection of Your Furniture
Once your furniture arrives at our warehouse, it will be received by our personnel who will then assemble and inspect your products to ensure they are, indeed, the appropriate items and remain free of manufacturing defects. At this point we will contact you to collect the balance and schedule your delivery for a date and time that suits you. Please make sure you have an understanding of the size of the furniture you have ordered and have taken the time to ensure it will fit in the final designated area. Before the delivery day please ensure an unobstructed clear path is available for our delivery personnel. Removal of any doors, windows, hand rails or wall fixtures is not our responsibility. Marshall's Home Furnishings will not be responsible for attempting to place furniture in areas where tight placements may result in the destruction of property or merchandise. It is a company policy not to hang accessory items. Please inspect your furniture for any potential flaws which may have been missed in our inspection process. Any flaws may be brought to the attention of our delivery staff which are capable and qualified to perform immediate touch ups when necessary. Please note that upholstered furniture is still predominately made by hand and is manufactured to certain plus or minus tolerances. Wood-grain on furniture varies and slight distressing is a normal characteristic of wood furniture today. If you should have any questions with regards to the quality of your new purchase please contact the store and we will arrange for an inspection. Upon our approval the furniture may have to be removed from the house and touched up, repaired or replaced. There is no added cost to you for this service unless the furniture met the quality standards of the manufacture.
Should you choose to pick up your furniture, we ask that you give Marshalls Home Furnishings 2 days notice. This allows us to thoroughly inspect and assemble your order. The smaller orders will be transferred to our store but larger orders can be picked up from our main warehouse. As this warehouse is not open to the general public, the 2 days notice you give us will allow our personnel to set aside a time window to meet you and help facilitate the loading of your furniture. Remember, it remains your responsibility to load, and secure your furniture complete with packing blankets and appropriate tie-downs where necessary to ensure that your new home furnishings arrive at their final destination in perfect condition. We do not supply any material for customer pickups. Please carefully inspect all merchandise as upon pickup you assume all risks for damage or defects.Absolutely no pickups or returns on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays without first obtaining permission from the store Manager.
Marshalls Home Furnishings cannot be held responsible for delivery delays from our supply partners. Delivery estimates are based on normal 6 to 10 week production cycles plus shipping, and can change due to fabric backorders style cutting schedules and other associated manufacturing delays. We will try to take every precaution to inform you of any potential delays so that you may reselect if you so desire. Cancellations are at the discretion of Marshalls Home Furnishings and are subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee.
Floor Model Clearance Items
It is the responsibility of the consumer to inspect any clearance item before agreeing to purchase said merchandise. Marshalls Home Furnishings will not carry out (at its expense) any after sale service as would be the case with new, in stock, or specially ordered product.
Marshall's Home Furnishings warrants that all merchandise meets the manufacturer's warranty standards. Warranty duration varies according to the manufacturer. Marshall's Home Furnishings assumes no risk to warranties outside of the scope of the manufacture's original warranty whether expressed or not by any employee of Marshall's Home Furnishings.
