The proof is in this collection, inspired by a small Quebec town where the cold weather and vast open spaces are matched only by the warmth and hospitality of the people. With their simple lines, the pieces in the Alma collection are easy to mix and match with other members of the Huppé family to create a look that feels youthful and organic. Designer Jo l Dupras created the Auguste table as a tribute to fine woodworking. Each of the trestles consists of four pieces of solid birch wood, assembled by way of glued mortise-and-tenon joints. The trestles are connected by two crossbars and mounted under a ceramic or clear glass top that shows off the sculptural lines of the base. The dovetailed crossbar is visible through the glass top and makes for a striking detail. This elegant table can seat more guests than most-the thoughtful overhang means the legs won't get in anyone's way. The Auguste chair couldn't be more inviting. The body-contoured molded birch plywood back and plush upholstery is the epitome of comfort.

Sideboards come with a ceramic or lacquered glass top to match the table. The sideboard doors, clad with handles in natural brass or a lightly brushed black finish, open to reveal a sophisticated interior with two glass shelves. The top can be made of wood or-if you care to mix and match your Memento buffet with another collection-ceramic, marble, or granite. The stone options for the buffet top are White Cherokee marble and Saint-Henri black granite. Selected for their beauty, functionality, and durability, they are both from North America and can be cut to 3/8 in., a rarity with natural stone that presents a clear advantage for furniture design. Cocktails are making a big comeback. So naturally, we came up with the idea of designing a bar to mark our 50th anniversary. The Ray Bar, a bar on wheels named after one of Huppé's founders, Raymond Hamel, was launched last fall at High Point Market. Its design is reminiscent of a cedar chest, the first piece of furniture Huppé created. Designer Jo l Dupras spared none of the details as he recreated the glamour of the 60s, the decade when our company was born. A special version of the bar, limited to just 50 numbered pieces, was also produced. The "50th Anniversary" Ray Bar features an elegant white marble or black granite top and is adorned with a solid brass lock and hardware as well as drawers lined with merino wool felt.

Sereno is all about the magnificent texture of East Coast yellow birch. The thin lacquered side panels are the only contrast with the wood grain. These engineered wood panels come in a range of regular and metallic colors. The bed is fully upholstered and features a headboard that's slightly tilted for added comfort, with solid yellow birch side panels. The oversized version of the headboard can be equipped with two Tolomeo lamps that are plugged directly into the wall. The optional storage base features an Italian mechanism that allows you to lift the mattress horizontally or at a 45 degree angle to access the storage section or change the sheets more easily.

Like the skateboard trick that inspired its name, the Wallride unit seems to run weightlessly along the wall. The components of this multipurpose system are attached with solid aluminum cleats, making it look as if it were floating. The shelves, multimedia cabinets, work desks, and steel cabinets are sold separately and can be combined in infinite ways to suit your needs and vision. The collection uses a mix of walnut veneer, raw or matte lacquered steel, and a black acoustic fabric that cleverly conceals electronic devices while still allowing sound from speakers and signals from remote controls to pass through. All the wood cabinets are designed to store electronics: they come with full-width openings at the back, are adapted for North American outlets, and leave enough space behind them to connect wiring from one cabinet to another along the wall. Cabinets come with wooden flap doors or with acoustic fabric. The L-shaped wall shelves are equipped with steel dividers that act as bookends and support brackets. The table, which could also serve as an entry console or TV stand, comes with a grommet for cables and a barely visible wireless charging station (optional) that doesn't detract from the ultra-minimalist look. The collection also includes many freestanding vertical, horizontal, and square shelving options that are a mix of wooden cabinets (with or without drawers or doors) and steel cabinets. All shelving units are finished on both sides and can be used as room dividers.

Wolfgang is a dining room collection that embraces simplicity, minimalism, and functionality-three of the guiding principles of Scandinavian design. With their seats and backs of metal or steam bent solid white oak, Wolfgang chairs and stools are a clear tribute to Scandinavian style. Venetian designer Luca Nichetto drew inspiration from the work of two predecessors-Michael Thonet, who designed the No. 14 chair (aka the bistro chair), and Hans J. Wegner, designer of the Wishbone chair-to craft a Scandinavian chair with an Italian touch! Nichetto launched his first Wolfgang chair at the opening of his Stockholm studio in 2011, naming it in honor of the studio that took him in when he first moved to Sweden, Studio Wolfgang. Other pieces were slowly added to what became the Wolfgang collection, including an armchair, a chaise with ottoman, a bar stool and, later on, a tubular steel chair and a metal stool with footrest. All of the pieces in the Wolfgang collection are manufactured under license by Huppé and come in a vast range of finishes, colors, and fabrics.
